Suzanna Guizar

Suzanna Guizar is an instructor at the University of Arkansas, in Fayetteville serving as a wellness and health promotion instructor and as an alcohol and other drug facilitator/counselor at the institution.
Prior to her current position, she worked for 10 years as a health, wellness, and fitness instructor at the Corporate Walmart Fitness Center in Bentonville, Arkansas. She also served previously as a health and exercise science instructor at Imperial Valley College in Imperial, California for five years.
Guizar is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Community Health Promotion from Arkansas and is expected to receive her degree in 2014. She received a master's degree in Psychology in 2010 from the University of Phoenix and a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from San Diego State University in 1993.
She is a member of the American College of Health Administration (ACHA), the Arkansas Collegiate Drug Education Committee (ACDEC), NASPA - Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education and the Northwest Arkansas Coalition.
